Better access between the Piazza and Bulevardi
The renovation begun with the parking garages in early September is proceeding to the indoor facilities of Itäkeskus. Structures separating the Piazza and Bulevardi will be removed. Access between the Piazza and Bulevardi will be maintained during the renovation.
A larger and more uniform space
The renovation will provide easier access between the Piazza and Bulevardi. The combined space will become larger and more uniform. The renovation forms part of the overhaul of the shopping centre as a whole, the purpose of which is to improve the overall appearance of the shopping centre and to improve the operating environment and make the shops more visible and easier to find. The renovation now in progress is expected to be completed by the end of April.
Changes in shop location
Eurokangas will be relocated to the former OnOff premises on the 2nd floor along the Piazza. Elisa has relocated to the former Else carpet shop premises on the 2nd floor next to Anttila. Both shops are open as usual.
Four new shops will be opened in the renovated facilities in early summer, aimed principally at families with children and outdoor people.
